Proceeds from the Tartan Ball and the silent auction benefit the Society's own Scots Charity & Education Fund, which has enabled students from the United States and Scotland to further their academic pursuits. The auction items listed in the linked pdf were generously donated for the 2007 Tartan Ball. You can expect a similarly spectacular array of auction items at the 2008 Tartan Ball.
